What this website is, and what it isn't.
Read the site, use the content, but do not rely on it as advice for your specific situation without talking to us.
The short version. This site is information, not an offer or a contract. The figures published here describe what we commit to in a signed agreement, and it is that agreement, not this page, that binds either of us.
01 This site is not an offer
Nothing here constitutes a binding offer, quotation or guarantee of service. Descriptions of our services, standards and engagement scopes are indicative. They become commitments only when set out in a signed agreement between Xoopie and a named client.
Where this site states a figure — a four-hour recovery time objective, ninety-day log retention, a two-business-day response — it describes the standard we contract to. Your agreement may differ because your environment does.
02 No professional advice
The content here, including the glossary and service standards, is general information. It is not security, legal, regulatory or engineering advice for your circumstances, and it is not a substitute for an assessment of your actual environment. Do not act, or decline to act, on the strength of a web page.
03 Accuracy
We take reasonable care to keep this site accurate and date it so you can see when it was last reviewed. We do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or continuously available. If you find something out of date or wrong, we would appreciate you telling us at info@xoopie.com.
04 Intellectual property
The content, design and code of this site belong to Xoopie unless stated otherwise. You may read, print, quote and share this material for your own evaluation or internal purposes, with attribution, including referencing our glossary and standards in your own documentation. Please do not republish it as your own, use it to market a competing service, or systematically scrape it.
05 Acceptable use
Do not use this site to attempt unauthorised access, to disrupt it, to scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, or for anything unlawful. Legitimate security research is a different matter and is welcome — please follow our responsible disclosure policy, which sets out scope and offers safe harbour.
06 Submissions
Information sent through the contact form is handled under our privacy policy. Please do not send credentials, confidential material or third-party personal data through the form — ask us and we will arrange a secure channel. Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship.
07 Liability and governing law
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xoopie is not liable for loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or anything that cannot lawfully be limited. Liability for services we actually deliver is governed by the relevant signed agreement.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Where a signed service agreement specifies a different forum, that agreement takes precedence within its scope.
08 Precedence
If anything on this page conflicts with a signed agreement between Xoopie and a client, the signed agreement prevails. This page cannot expand, restrict or reinterpret what has been agreed in writing.
